(11/08/2005) - Survey
of European LIS schools
As part
of the “LIS Education in Europe” project RSLIS has just finalised a
questionnaire-based survey designed to gather information on European LIS
schools and their educational programmes. The resulting report will provide an
overview of courses, curricular structures, resources, student enrolments, etc.
in condensed statistical format. An overview of the findings emerging from the
study was presented to the forum of LIS education experts gathering for a
two-day seminar in Copenhagen mid-August 2005. To see the presentation, use the
following link: Presentation.
The final version of the report
will be made available here at this project website and published in a hardcopy
format as well. To read more about the survey, go to that section of the project
homepage. (Direct link)
