Search language

An ambiguous term, which is sometimes used for information retrieval language, or command language (see CCL) or query language. It may also be used about a natural language such as English or Danish when they are described in an information retrieval context.

Informationsordbogen (1991) translate the Danish term "søgesprog" (search language) to "query language" and declare this term synonymous with "command language".
